Synopsis:
A modern New Jersey mobster and his crew are taken out of their element when they are sent to Texas to get to the bottom of things, regarding a southern contingent that has gone off radar. Looking to film this as a pilot episode that will be pitched to networks and platforms. The pilot will be set entirely in New Jersey (Filmed here in Texas).
I am looking to cast for and film the first scene as a test of dynamic.
Character Breakdowns:
Ambrosio Demonte (AKA Demmy)- Caucasian – late 40’s /early 50’s. This main character is a captain in a modern New Jersey crime family that is caught in the declining years of mob-life. He is the trusted man of the family boss who asks of him a favor that will be the overall plot. A normal man. He’s not a pretty boy. He’s showing some wear-and-tear.
Benvolio Rossi (AKA Benny) – Caucasian- 40-50 years old – Ambrosio’s trusted man and confidant. He is heavy set and strong, but not extremely healthy. His poor health will be a part of this first scene. He is a good guy but also unafraid to be old school.
Johnny Lanton – Caucasian – 40-50 years old . Ambrosio’s childhood friend – VERY talkative and a bit of a showoff. He’s is excitable. He is a major character in the pilot and is always looking to please Demmy. He seems to treat his friendship with Demmy as a trophy.
Linda Lanton – Johnny’s wife. Caucasian – 35 50 years old. She only appears in this first scene scene, but is not ruled out for future installments.
Roland Cobb – 30s – Any ethnicity – He is the local golf pro. Has no dialogue in the pilot but must be seen in it because he will be a recurring character in future installments. Presence is important to the pilot.
Extras – 8 to 10 extras will be needed for the test scene. Portrayed as middle aged couples at a cookout. Will need two teenagers (one male and one female.) Any ethnicity.

I am looking for folks new to the business so we can all learn together and gain this experience. I am considering this pilot much like community theater. Lets make something great and we can see what comes from that success.
