| Synopsis: |
| SQUIRREL is a 5-minute mystery/fantasy/horror about an encounter between Lee, a man in his forties who has been tortured by his life and has been escaping through self-isolation, and a fairy squirrel. The fairy squirrel gives Lee something he hasn’t felt for a long time, acceptance and trust, but Lee is frightened away when the fairy squirrel accidentally reveals her original shape. Lee soon regrets his actions and starts searching for the fairy. |
| Character Breakdowns: |
| Lee [M/30-50/All Races] A loner who feels tired of life. He is not good looking in a general way and seems hard to get along with. A cynical character for he has rarely been treated nicely. He does have a gentle heart though. Deep inside he longs for acceptance and love.
Fairy [F/18-32/Native American, Caucasian, Hispanic] A squirrel who just obtained the human form, a beautiful woman. She is innocent but also vigilant. She desires to, but is nervous to, enter the human world. She witnesses a good deed of Lee and chooses him as the person to make the first contact with pure trust. |

Please send your availability during the 29th of January and headshots (along with reel and resume if you have one) to rohanbansal406@gmail.com to schedule an audition. If you can’t make it during that day, send some potential dates and times you could audition either in-person or over zoom (The earlier, the better). Headshots don’t have to be professional – any pictures of yourself will work! Further steps/instructions will be sent to you after communication is established.
